Studio Vera

Embracing silk’s translucency and fragility as a formal tool, these silk pieces are made to be both displayed and carried, allowed to accrue a biography. Rather than preserving condition as a measure of value, the work is intended to accumulate traces of time and travel: creases and marks of use becoming part of each object’s ongoing story.
